Beirut Victims Express their Pain Through Art

While the world carries on battling the pandemic, Beirut is still suffering tenfold despair after the blast that shook the world more than two months ago.

With very little hope in store for the mourning nation, artists around the country have channeled their anguish through works of art.

One artist,  54-year-old Nabil Debs, was preparing his new boutique hotel when the explosion shattered his dreams.

Today, the same broken halls display works of art that are an expression of the grief and despair the artists feel.

Art is often a channel to express oneself, and here they can be free to lash out the built-up anger in a constructive way.
